Dr. Doug Carter and his wife, Winnie, served as missionaries to American Indians (Native Americans) for sixteen years (1964-1980). Dr. Carter became president of Ohio Christian University (formerly Circleville Bible College) in 1980 and served there nine years helping prepare men and women for Christian service.
Dr. Carter served eight years (1989-1997) as Vice President of World Gospel Mission, an interdenominational mission agency sharing the gospel in all regions of the world. He has served as the Senior Vice President of EQUIP since 1997. He has preached and trained in over 125 nations.
